Four Pillars of a Master Mind Group

Motivation and Inspiration – There are times in everyone’s life where there is a huge void of motivation and inspiration.  This makes it easy to become complacent and accept the status quo.  An marketing idea, process change or business loan may have fallen through and can be devastating to your ego, sapping any motivation you have to continue to move forward.  Your Master Mind group can be a rallying point to get yourself back on track.  After all, part of joining a Master Mind group is not just about you but about supporting the group.

Different Perspective - My background  as a management consultant for the past 25 years has proven that while many people understand the problems they are having, they are not sure of how to solve them because they are so immersed in the situation they cannot get a fresh perspective to approach real problem solving.  A Master Mind group can provide the catalyst to a new perspective based on their neutral, non-biased view of the situation.  They bring knowledge and experience that may be of great benefit to your situation.

Accountability – Goals and achievement are the drivers to success but most people are miserable at holding themselves accountable.  Think about those New Year resolutions that never saw the end of January.  If you share your goals and plans with your Master Mind group and commit to specific  times to accomplish them, they can serve as your “accountability partners”.

Dynamic Synergy – If you have joined a Master Mind group or thinking about starting one, you realize that great success is not possible alone.  It must be made up of people who are committed and dedicated to the success of the group.  A Master Mind group is bigger than the sum of its part.  Napoleon Hill wrote that in a Master Mind, 1+1=3 and that the third is the Master Mind.  Utilize the power of the Master Mind to move your success to the next level, the level you will never reach by yourself.
