To get the real value from your Master Mind Alliance, you have to know what you want to accomplish. You have to ask “What are my expectations? What do I hope to accomplish?”
People spend more time planning their vacation than they spend planning their life. Most people think their New Year’s resolutions are goals. “Quit smoking”, “Lose 25 pounds” or “Get Rich” are not goals. These are wishes. To be a goal, it must be very specific, have a clear expectation and time period to achieve the goal. If you can set up milestones to measure your progress at certain points all the better.
Another problem people have with goals is they set too many. They lose focus and they never accomplish anything. It is better to have two well conceived and planned goals you accomplish than 10 “want to do’s” that you can never really determine where you are and what you need to do to get them accomplished.
