Use Your Mind, Don’t Let It Use You

“A controlled, focused mind pays attention to thoughts, words, actions, and plans. A person who lets their mind wander aimlessly around will never achieve lasting success.” Napoleon Hill

Think about this and how it applies to you?  Do you keep yourself on track for the success you deserve or do you let your mind wander to other things that pull you away from your “definite purpose”?  It can be very difficult especially when you are juggling a lot of balls. You may be new at your home business that you plan to use to create your fortune and still have your day job with its own demands.  You may find it easier to go check your email than to go post to your blog or finish writing a sales letter or call that guy you know you can get a joint venture going with.

All of your time doesn’t have to be spent working directly on your success.  You can still make progress by relaxing with a game of golf with that join venture prospect or take time out to go to ball practice with your kids or just spend some time with your spouse. The important thing is that when are “working” on your success, you focus and stay with it and not allow your mind to go to other places.
